Eyvind Earle


Evyind Earle was an American artist best known for his work on the backgrounds of Disney films of the 1950s. According to his biography, Earle’s father challenged him to read fifty pages or paint a picture every day. Earl’s style is characterized by simple shapes and a somewhat monochromatic color palette. Of note are his contributions to Sleeping Beauty where his style is immediately apparent.
